Hi! I'm a freshman at the University of Notre Dame from the small town of Metamora, Illinois. I'm a dedicated member of the ROTC program at Notre Dame. Although I'm always eager to stay busy, I also cherish the moments where I can stop to take in nature.

I love music and musical instruments. When I'm not wearing headphones listening music, you'll often find me playing the piano, chanter, pipes, or sometimes I even pick up the harmonica or drums.

With my great-grandfather having been a Pipe Major, you could say playing the bagpipes is in my blood. I seized the opportunity to learn the instrument at age ten and now compete as a grade 3 soloist and with a grade 4 band. This year, I'm thrilled to join the Notre Dame Pipe Band.

I started playing piano at age five. I have a strength in sight reading music and enjoy picking up a songbook to play through it. I lend my skills to play for school events and church services.

While my love for music runs deep, my passion for sports is equally strong. I've played travel and school softball as a catcher.
My most recent sports adventure has been learning how to rock climb. I have found bouldering to be especially enjoyable

I am currently a member of the Fightin' Irish Battalion at Notre Dame, and in 3 years I plan on serving active duty for the United States Army.

When I'm not busy, I enjoy lending a helping hand in the kitchen. One of my favorite dishes to make is sushi, though I also love preparing stir fry.

I'll admit it, I'm nerdy. I love to learn and especially read. I'll read anything and the thicker the book the better. Initially my career goal was to be a Physician. I like to help people and find anatomy fascinating. In recent years, my passion for politics and international affairs has grown, which has led me to major in Global Affairs!

I have two little brothers who are also very active. My parents spend most of their time driving us around, but we still find fun moments as a family and especially love visiting new places.
